Kool Smiles frequently partners with local organizations who want to expand the reach of quality dental care to their communities. We have partnered with daycare centers to provide oral health supplies and education (PDF) and with state governors to expand access to quality dentistry (PDF) across a whole state. We have partnerships of all shapes and sizes with all types of organizations.

If your agency or organization could benefit from a partnership with Kool Smiles, please visit our community contact form so we can route your request to a representative who can serve you.

For Community Organizations and Companies

Kool Smiles strives to make a positive impact in our communities by partnering with local nonprofit and for-profit organizations.

Through volunteering, sponsorships, and participation in local events, we help local community organizations succeed in meeting their mission. Don't be surprised to see our community relations team providing toys to the Toys for Tots program, stuffing backpacks for Back to School initiatives, or packing grocery bags at the local food bank. We believe in helping the community grow and prosper in all aspects of their lives.

Did you know that employed adults lose more than 164 million hours of work each year due to oral health problems and dental visits? We want to help your business succeed by decreasing your employee absenteeism due to dental-related illnesses. Kool Smiles provides free Lunch 'n' Learn programs on oral healthcare, and will help employees understand the dental benefits you are providing. This can help lower absenteeism and put smiles on the faces of your team. If your employee needs to take their children or themselves to the general dentist, Kool Smiles provides same-day appointments, short wait times, and same-day care—all to help to minimize the time your employees are away from the office.

If your organization wants to benefit from one of our outreach programs, please visit our contact form and we'll be in touch with you soon!

For Healthcare Providers

At Kool Smiles, our goal is to provide critical dental health services to children and their parents who previously had limited or no access to dental care. By providing this care early on, we can help prevent serious health problems from arising later in a child's life.

The Surgeon General has concluded that oral health care is the number-one unmet need for children across America today. This need is particularly critical for children in low-income families. Nationally, only one in five children from low-income families has access to dental care, primarily due to a lack of available services.

We are working to create a comprehensive healthcare community for our country's children. With healthcare providers working together, we can ensure that America's children and their parents are able to receive the complete healthcare coverage they need and deserve.

If you are interested in establishing a mutual referral partnership with Kool Smiles, please fill in our referral partnership form and our office will contact you soon.

For Legislators

Kool Smiles is proud to be part of the communities we serve by providing education and outreach about the importance of oral health, involving ourselves in community organizations, and bringing great jobs to the community. Most importantly, we are providing quality dental care to those who might not otherwise have access to it.

Unlike many providers who will not see underserved patients or will only see a small number of them, Kool Smiles seeks to create quality access for patients of state-sponsored Medicaid and SCHIP programs, and aims to enhance healthcare specifically in communities defined as underserved. Kool Smiles is proud of its unique work: creating smiles on kids´ and parents´ faces alike. Come see for yourself. Just fill out our contact form and one of our representatives will reserve a time to take you on a tour of one of our offices.

For Military and Base Personnel

We support our military personnel. We understand our military families can have a tough time with schedules and frequent moves. Did you know that Kool Smiles offices are located near many military bases throughout the United States? This makes it easy for patients to transfer records and stay with a familiar dental home, no matter where you are in the country. Of course, we proudly accept United Concordia's Tricare in all offices.

Kool Smiles also partners with local military bases by sponsoring events, providing free oral education and dental screenings to child development centers, and collaborating with the community on company-sponsored events to thank our troops for protecting our country.

If you would like to learn more about how we can work with your base, just use our community contact form and one of our representatives will contact you shortly.

For Schools

Tooth decay affects 50% of first-graders and 80% of 17-year-olds. In fact, more than 51 million school hours are lost each year due to dental-related illnesses. Children who miss school are at risk of falling behind in their studies. Kool Smiles works closely with schools near our offices to help ensure children are getting the dental care they need and deserve.

Kool Smiles provides free oral health education to children, parents, and educators, as well as free dental screenings, on request, to help school officials ensure their students are healthy and free from dental problems that may affect their ability to learn.

To schedule a free oral health presentation or dental screening for your school, please fill out our community contact form and one of our representatives will contact you soon.

  • Looking for a general dentist who will see your children?

    Try Kool Smiles!

Kool Smiles was founded in 2002 and was built on the belief that every family has the right to quality dental care in a clean, safe and fun environment. Our first goal is to provide quality and compliant dental care to individuals in communities that typically get overlooked by general dentists. Our services are not just for kids, but since we know children are more likely to have great dental habits if mom and dad do too, we happily care for the entire family.

  • Does Kool Smiles have general dentists that accept Medicaid?

Yes, all Kool Smiles general dentists accept Medicaid.

While very few dentistry practices accept Medicaid as a payment option, Kool Smiles, in adherence with its mission to provide quality dental care to underserved children and their parents, proudly accepts Medicaid in every location. To find a participating Kool Smiles general dentist near you, please search for a dentist close to you, or call us today at 1-855-223-KOOL.

  • What is Medicaid and how can I find a general dentist who accepts Medicaid?

Access to healthcare for millions of Americans

Medicaid is a government program that provides access to healthcare for millions of Americans who would otherwise be uninsured. Medicaid also provides for dental coverage at varying levels for children and adults. Each state regulates its own Medicaid program in conjunction with the federal government. Unfortunately not many dentists take Medicaid as a payment option or restrict the number of patients they will see. This limits the choices an individual has to see an approved Medicaid dentist. Kool Smiles is unlike most dentists and welcomes all patients, including those with Medicaid coverage.

  • What makes Kool Smiles different from other general dentists who see kids?

It is our mission to provide high quality dental care in a safe, fun and friendly environment.

Our offices have been built with families in mind. Our offices feature spacious waiting rooms with a play area for children and most offices feature semi-private treatment areas for adults. We have a fun décor, staff who has been trained to help our young patients, and a desire to make sure all patients receive the dental care they deserve.

  • Does Medicaid cover my child's cost when I go to a participating general dentist?

Typically Medicaid will cover any recipient under the age of 21.

Details of what is covered for pediatric dental and adult oral health care varies from state to state. However, coverage typically includes dental pain relief, dental hygiene or teeth cleanings, addressing infections and tooth restorations. For a complete list of services covered in your state, just call us and we'll help you understand your Medicaid dental benefits.
