Kool Smiles offices are specifically built for children and adults to have a fun and enjoyable dental experience. Our team takes pride in caring for our community and providing quality, accessible, and compassionate oral healthcare.
Kool Smiles offices have brightly colored, oversize waiting areas that include children´s play areas, many of which have full playground sets where younger children can climb, slide, and explore. Located off the waiting rooms, most of our offices have hygiene viewing areas, where parents may choose to observe while their child´s dental cleanings and preventive dentistry are performed—if they choose not to accompany their child into the treatment area.

After the hygiene exam is completed, a Kool Smiles dental professional meets with the family to discuss the status of each patient´s health and options for any restorative work that may be required. We know that time is precious, and in many cases, if it is agreeable, our doctors will do their best to complete the additional services the same day. This means you don´t have to take time off work or your child out of school to make a return trip to Kool Smiles to complete treatment.
Our doctors use basic behavioral guidance techniques such as "tell, show, do" to make dental treatment a pleasant experience for all. Before any procedure is performed, our doctors thoroughly explain and show the patient exactly what will happen. If needed, nitrous oxide (laughing gas) can be given during dental treatment to relieve anxiety, and local anesthesia may also be used to numb the teeth and gums to prevent pain.
At the completion of each visit, a Kool Smiles dental professional consults with the patient´s family to give a detailed description of the work completed, provide after-care instructions, issue prescriptions if needed, and answer any questions our patients may have.
Many Kool Smiles offices are staffed with multi-lingual representatives and dental professionals. Kool Smiles also offers translation services at no cost to you for other languages our patients may speak.
