Once a year, we create dental care packages for our troops with the help of candy donations from children in the Baltimore area. Each child can trade in 25 pieces of unopened candy in exchange for a toy. We partnered with Operation Gratitude to pack these donated candies along with oral hygiene materials to donate to our U.S troops that are stationed overseas.
The care package includes candy, floss, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. This is a good way to let our troops know that we appreciate their service and also, helps kids prevent tooth decay by lessening their sugar consumption during the Halloween season.
