It’s important for families to have a local dentist that provides quality affordable care in an environment that’s friendly and welcoming to children. This is the goal every Kool Smiles location aims to achieve, and we pride ourselves on our ability to make it happen.
Keep reading to learn why Kool Smiles should be your preferred children’s dentist.
With 30% of children afraid of the dentist, and 10 million kids ages two through 18 living without dental coverage, Kool Smiles aims to make trips to the dentist both fun for kids and affordable for their parents or guardians. Here’s how we do it:
We want to create an atmosphere that excites children about going to the dentist. Our waiting rooms are colorful and bright, filled with games and toys for your children. Most even have a full playground set where children can climb and explore while they wait for their appointment.
Parents love our office because they have access to treatment viewing areas where they can keep an eye on their child’s dental cleanings and procedures. In most cases, parents are even welcome in the treatment area.
We have a network of general dentists who are knowledgeable and experienced in working with children. We use basic behavior guidance techniques such as “tell, show, do” to make sure kids and dentists can communicate effectively with one another.
In addition, many of our offices have in-house dental specialists working alongside our general dentists so your children can have all their dental needs met at one location.
To make sure your children’s dental care is affordable to you, we accept most major insurance plans including Medicaid, State Children’s Health Insurance Programs (SCHIP), and TRICARE. In addition, we accept several state-specific insurance providers, such as:
