Kool Smiles, a dental provider with several locations in Arizona, can meet your dental needs and provide the quality care your children deserve.
How Does AHCCCS Work?
You can apply online for AHCCS for yourself, your family, or someone close to you. After a short waiting period, those eligible will begin receiving medical care coverage.
AHCCCS works like an HMO (Health Maintenance Organization), allowing patients to choose from several health plans. Though Medicaid typically only covers emergency dental treatment for adults, children under 18 are eligible for treatment and screenings.
If you call Kool Smiles today, we’ll be able to give a complete list of what is covered.
Why Should I Bring My Child to Kool Smiles?
Kool Smiles is a dental clinic with more than 120 offices nationwide. At Kool Smiles, we specialize in treating children’s dental health needs and providing them tips on how to take care of their oral health.
All of our waiting rooms are brightly colored and filled with toys and games, making young patients feel at home. Most of our locations also have indoor playgrounds for younger children to play on.
Our dentists understand how to make children feel comfortable during treatment. They use a “tell, show, do” approach so kids understand what exactly is happening to them.
In addition to being a dentist that accepts AHCCCS Medicaid plans, Kool Smiles accepts state-sponsored children’s health insurance plans (SCHIP) and TRICARE. We also accept:
Most private dental insurance plans
