From wisdom teeth extractions to fitting braces, our Forest Park general dentists are trained in dental services children most commonly need. They also receive in-house training from our senior staff and stay up-to-date on new dentistry trends through continuing education.
We know that affordable dental care is hard to find. In fact, the average cost of a simple cleaning is about $61 for a child. That’s why Kool Smiles is committed to providing high-quality, low-cost dental care to communities who need it most. We make our services affordable by accepting most insurances, including the following.
Patients paying out of pocket can use credit, debit or CareCredit to cover their fees. If you have questions about insurance, don’t hesitate to ask our friendly staff.
Our providers partner with local schools, day care centers and other kid-friendly organizations to teach children how to have healthy teeth and gums for life. Talk to our staff if you would like to learn more about our community outreach programs, including Operation Troop Treats and Sharing Smiles Day.
Our dentists are dedicated to educating children and parents about proper oral hygiene. We sponsor events in the Forest Park community that help promote healthy smiles and make dental care fun for the whole family.
Every year when Halloween arrives, children invite tooth decay and cavities by eating lots of sugary treats. Kool Smiles gives children in the Forest Park area an opportunity to improve their oral health while giving back to others at the same time. With Operation Troop Treats, kids have the opportunity to exchange their Halloween candy for a toy.
Once our dental care professionals receive this candy, they enlist the help of Operation Gratitude volunteers. This nationwide, non-profit organization makes care packages and sends them to troops stationed overseas. The donated candy, along with other oral health care supplies, are then shipped to U.S. troops to provide them with treats as well as tools to keep a healthy smile.
This event is open to every child in the community, not just Kool Smiles patients. Here are the guidelines for how to participate in Operation Troop Treats:
