  1. Tell. The dentist explains what is going to happen during the check-up/procedure in age-appropriate language.
  2. Show. The dentist demonstrates to the patient the sights, sounds, smells, or other senses they may experience during the procedure or check-up.
  3. Do. The dentist performs the procedure or check-up, doing it exactly the way they said they would.

Many of our offices are staffed with dentists and staff who speak several languages. We offer free translation services to all kids and parents so that non-English speaking families get the same level of care as English-speaking families.
