Hattiesburg, MS., Feb 16, 2017
Staff from Kool Smiles, a leading provider of quality dental care for local children and families, delivered more than 500 toothbrushes to families impacted by a recent tornado that swept through the town of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and the surrounding area.
Working with Sen. Juan Barnett and Rep. Toby Barker, Kool Smiles staff reacted quickly and organized a donation of toothbrushes and dental supplies to those affected by the crisis.
"The residents of the Pine Belt area recently had a devastating tornado that upended our way of life," said State Senator Juan Barnett, whose district includes Hattiesburg. "It's the little things – like a toothbrush – that will help us take steps back toward normal. Thank you Kool Smiles for being concerned about your community."
"Our thoughts are with the victims of this terrible tragedy," said Dr. Brad Bryan, Managing Dental Director. "Kool Smiles works hard every day to be a resource to this community and we're committed to supporting the people of Hattiesburg in their time of need."
