This is an annual event wherein our partner dentists volunteer to provide dental treatment to uninsured children at zero cost. Sharing Smiles Day happens once a year only so we advise parents who want to partake in this event to plan and arrive early to avoid the long queue. All uninsured patients under the age of 18 can have access to treatment at no charge.
Sweets and improper brushing techniques are the culprits for dental caries, especially in young children. We’ve spearheaded Operation Troop Treats to educate children about proper oral hygiene practices and limiting sugar consumption.
Here, children can donate their Halloween candy in exchange for a toy. Less sugar, fewer cavities! Volunteers from Operation Gratitude pack the donated candy with other items such as toothbrushes, floss, and toothpaste to create a dental care package to send to our U.S. troops overseas.
